Disabling SMS or email notifications can be done in two basic ways: Stop being a Contact for one or more users, or change how notifications are delivered from the Wearsafe System. The first method affects messages from one user at a time, and the second method affects all messages from the Wearsafe System from or about all users.
Stop being a Contact
Speak with the Account Owner directly and ask them to remove you as a Contact. If you need to change what email address or mobile number is used to reach you, follow these instructions: How do I change user information?
Stop messages from Wearsafe
For SMS, send STOP or a synonym to 33947 or +1 (860) 956-3962. This always affects all messages from Wearsafe, and all people who send alerts and set you as a Contact. They will not know you have disabled SMS messaging.
For email, for some types of messages you can use an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the message. This affects new invites to become a Contact as well as nonessential messages from Wearsafe. It does not affect the "transactional" messages you agreed to receive when you accepted the Contact invite, specifically notifications that a Check-in has happened or Alert has started and ended.
For transactional email messages, use your email app or email provider's tools to set a filter that moves these messages to a folder you do not normally see or get notified about new messages. You can set the filters with as much precision in the message search as you like, potentially filtering only messages about Check-ins or Alerts, or from specific users who send alerts to you.
