Only going to receive alerts?
You do not need an activation code. If you are going to manage the account of another person who will send alerts, please see this article for details: Managing an account used on someone else's phone. If you do not manage accounts, do not install the Wearsafe App.
Originally a Wearsafe 1 user?
If you had an active subscription to the Wearsafe 1 service as of June 9, 2020, you do not need an activation code. If you are converting to Wearsafe 2 and you are asked for an activation code, contact support@wearsafe.com and include your Wearsafe 1 account ID (an email address) and your Wearsafe 2 account ID (a mobile phone number).
Purchased from a retailer?
If you purchased a Wearsafe Tag SOS button from any of our retail partners and the package showed "Subscription included", you received an activation code. If you did not activate service before June 9, 2020, you can activate your subscription directly in the Wearsafe app as part of creating your account.
Subscription codes inside your Tag SOS button package are 12 characters, and can look like this:



If you backed us on Kickstarter during July and August 2015, you have one or more lifetime subscriptions. Previously activated subscriptions convert exactly like all other Wearsafe 1 activations. For assistance with any unused backer reward activations, please contact us.
