If your Wearsafe Tag SOS button hasn’t checked in recently and doesn’t check in when you ask it to, it may be out of range, out of battery, or may have been unpaired in your phone's main Bluetooth settings. You can open the device details screen for each Tag SOS button then tap Check In or Test Tag to get a fresh check-in.
On iOS:
- Make sure you are using a fresh battery, or that it was at least 50% full within the last week.
- Force quit the Wearsafe App.
- Reopen the App, then tap on Devices, then tap on the Tag to open its device details screen.
- If the Tag has not yet checked in on its own, tap on Check In and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If the check-in still does not work, tap on Remove Tag on the device details screen
- Follow the standard steps for pairing, shown in the App.
On Android:
- Make sure you are using a fresh battery, or that it was at least 50% full within the last week.
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
- Force quit the Wearsafe App.
- Reopen the App, then tap on Devices, then tap on the Tag to open its device details screen.
- If the Tag has not yet checked in on its own, tap on Test Tag and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If the check-in still does not work, tap on Remove Tag on the device details screen
- Follow the standard steps for pairing, shown in the App.
